CONTRACT AGREEMENT

The following document has been drawn up by the agent,’Jigs ‘N’ Reels’,and forms a Contract between the parties named below, and duly signed by both parties voluntarily, to act within the terms stated below,further terms detailed on the reverse of this document and earlier terms referred to in the agent’s Receipt of Deposit reference CJM 000999 which all form part of this Contract Agreement

3 The performance is Ceilidh/Barn Dance Band (the artist/s) comprising 4 musicians plus a caller

will perform live music/dance instruction of a Scottish/Irish/English/American/mixture of traditional music style,

will dress informally in smart casual wear and will provide their own instruments and PA system,suitable for the purposes,to perform

START 8-00pm (till 9-15pm approx,break for buffet for minimum 30 minutes),thereafter continuing in the style stated above and

FINISH 11-30pm latest

4 The remuneration is.. Fee payable by the hirer/s to the artist/s for the said performance,taking into account any receipted deposit previously forwarded by the hirer/s to the agent,leaving,on this occasion,a BALANCE SUM of 400-00 directly payable to the above-named leader of the artist/s.The balance sum will be paid by the hirer/s to the leader of the artist/s in CASH ON NIGHT unless otherwise agreed in writing

5 Responsibilities The hirer/s will be providing to the artist/s,free of charge,2 drinks each/light refreshments,a safe structurally sound venue,a safe minimum 13 amp electrical supply and all licensing requirements necessary for the event.The artist/s will provide safe electrically tested equipment and clear away all their equipment at end of event.The agent will undertake all administrative roles up to the point of final signed agreement of this Contract Agreement,within the scope of duties outlined elsewhere in terms of this Contract Agreement.

6 Cancellation In the unusual event of cancellation by the hirer/s the deposit would be non-returnable and the following cancellation charge scale would also apply

30 days or more prior to booking 50% of balance of fee

30-15 days prior to booking 75% of balance of fee

15 days (or less) prior to booking 100% of balance of fee

All cancellations must be in writing via recorded delivery mail to the artist/s leader at address above

For Cancellation/Non-performance by the artist/s,refer to clause 7 on the reverse of this document
