Here’s a trio of accomplished and highly experienced traditionally-rooted musicians who have been performing together for twelve years and are based in Nottinghamshire. They are:
Ade (acoustic guitar, cittern, harmonica and vocals)
Geoff (electric bass,banjo, guitar,and vocals)
John (diatonic accordions, vocals)
making sure that their music is dynamic, underpinned by firm and imaginative bass and guitar rhythms. Quite simply, it is great fun to dance to, featuring a fine balance between songs and tunes between the dances, including some of their own material. Songs range from traditional ballads to writers in the modern folk idioms of Britain and America as well as their wide array of dance music. As the ceilidh band, there is a caller in addition to run through all the dances.
However,the trio only will gladly undertake concert only bookings. They have an extensive range of traditional and contemporary folk music and song from the UK, Ireland and beyond.
