Richard …….. fiddle and melodeon
Gail ……………flute, clarinet, saxophone and recorders/Caller
Jon …………… guitar, mandolins, and bodhran
Jonathan ….. bass, guitar, and flute.
This is a very versatile set of experienced musicians who can offer a themed evening in any of the Scottish, Irish or American music/dance flavours – or a mixture.
The band have played weddings galore, socials, carnivals, fairs, company shindigs, school and charity fundraisers as well as movie launches for Twentieth Century Fox, and performed at the BBC Music Live Festival, broadcast on the BBC, been twice featured on Radio Merseyside’s Folk Scene programme, as well as many other local radio stations around the country.
We just wanted to write to ask if you could pass our sincere thanks on to the Band who played at our daughters wedding on Sunday 8th May (2011). They were absolutely fantastic, the calling was excellent as were the musicians. Everyone was up on the floor ( when there was room ). They evoked a great sense of fun to the evening and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was a great start to the evening and by the time the disco came on , everyone seemed really happy to stay on the floor for a ‘boogie’.
It was a wonderful day for us and The Band really contributed to making it so.
