Description
This ceilidh band usually comprises fiddle, accordion, keyboard and recorder,but can provide more or less musicians as required.
There’s many years’ experience of music making between them, and a similar time spent on the dance floor learning to appreciate good dance sound.
The band play regularly at the country’s top barn dance and ceilidh clubs and festivals, including Sidmouth, Whitby, Broadstairs, Eastbourne, Chippenham, Lichfield, Bromyard, and at the national centre for traditional English dance ‘Cecil Sharp House’ in London. Occasionally with teams of experienced dancers they also attend overseas dance festivals (Denmark, France, Spain). This wide experience allows the band to adapt their music to every type of barn dance or ceilidh, be it American Hoedown, Irish Ceili or Scottish Ceilidh.
